Thanks for helping me pass my lunchbreak enjoyably. I've decided it will be my 'online reading' time from now on. Glad you liked the Arts & Letters Daily! Could spend days on there.
I think it would be silly to hand the Booker over to the public. As much as I'm all for democratic prizes (when its suited), an already established prize would lose its prestige if every Tom, Dick and Harry (or Jane) could vote for the one book they liked out of the three they read all year.
I hope I lead you to Harvest. It's a really great little journal.

oh, it's a pleasure! harvest is great - we've known of it for a wee while but unfortunately missed the launch. More new spots for new writers - how good. i love the discussion around the booker every time, whichever way it turns it's usually entertaining. and midnight's children - what a surprise!
