OK. Here's the thing with the Bookers. I've never read a Booker I liked. Really. Except maybe True History of the Kelly Gang but even that was only OK.
Midnight's Children has already been awarded the Booker of Bookers as well as a regular Booker and quite frankly I couldn't get through it.
Maybe I'm just more of a Pulitzer kind of guy.
