Hey, Louise. I'm too lazy to find my reggo for the Guardian blogs, so I'll comment here - just to note I come from a family of salesmen and event managers, and concur with all that's written there. There is certainly an element of narrative in sales, and it can be a good subject for films (I'm thinking Empire Records for starters.)
I certainly don't miss selling chairtips at Clark Rubber though.
